Why drop off is usually cheaper
A collection sends a driver to your door, and someone has to pay for that trip. Drop off also tends to buy you a later cut off.

Several carriers offer label free drop off. You show a QR code on your phone, the counter prints the label, and the parcel goes on its way. If you have no printer at home, this is the route to take.
